Support for reactive and aggressive dogs

At Eastern Suburbs Dog Training, it’s important to me that every dog gets the right help. If your dog is struggling with serious reactivity or aggression, I’ll always be upfront if I believe they would be better supported by someone who specialises in this area.

I’ve known Bear The Dog Behaviourist for 15+ years, both professionally and personally, and have a huge amount of respect for his knowledge and experience. When it comes to reactive and aggressive dogs, Bear is the person I trust to send people to.

When your dog needs specialist help

Reactivity and aggression can be difficult to manage, and every dog is different. Sometimes the best thing I can do is recognise when a dog needs someone who works specifically in this area. That’s why I refer these cases to Bear. I’ve known him for many years, trust his experience and know the dogs I send his way are in very capable hands.

Aggression at home

Barking, lunging, pulling or reacting strongly to other dogs, people, cyclists or other triggers while out walking.

On-lead reactivity

Growling, snapping, guarding or aggressive behaviour towards visitors or people entering the home.

Dog-to-dog conflict

Intense confrontation, lack of impulse control around other dogs, or severe fear-based defensive reactions.

Why Rob refers to a specialist

With over 20 years of experience working with dogs, Rob knows that good dog training also means knowing when a dog needs a different kind of support. Rather than take your money when someone else is better suited to help, Rob would rather point you in the right direction. For serious reactivity or aggression, that person is Bear, someone Rob has known and trusted for many years.
